The Akshaya Lottery draw happens every Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, near Bakery Junction. To participate, you must be at least 18 years old.

Akshaya lottery tickets have 12 alphabetical series. Each ticket features two letters: it always starts with the letter ‘A’ and is followed by another letter from the following options: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, X, Y, or Z. This is followed by six digits ranging from 1 to 9.

The lottery offers various prizes for lucky Kerala Lottery players. If the number on your ticket matches any of the winning numbers, you will receive the corresponding prize money. Be sure to keep your ticket and receipt, as you will need them to claim your prize.

Every Wednesday afternoon, you have the chance to win a jackpot of ₹70 Lakhs. The game has eight prize tiers and also includes a consolation prize of ₹8,000 for tickets from other series that match the top prize-winning number.

How to claim a prize?

If you win a lottery prize in the Akshaya Lottery, you must claim it within 30 days from the date of the draw. To claim your prize, you need the original lottery ticket and the purchase receipt.

You will also need to complete all necessary fields, including the winner’s name. You can claim a reward of up to ₹5,000 directly from a lottery agent. However, for prizes up to ₹1,00,000, you must visit a District Lottery Office or the Directorate of State Lotteries. If you win the first or second prize, you must present your winnings to the Directorate. Winners who do not reside in Kerala must also claim their prizes in Kerala.

Please note that lottery wins over ₹10,000 are considered income and are subject to a 30% tax.
