Karunya Plus lottery result from the Kerala State are now available. The results table is updated in real-time every Thursday as soon as the draw is completed, starting with the most recent draw and moving to the older results.
The Karunya Plus weekly draw takes place every Thursday at 3 p.m. at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, near Bakery Junction, under the supervision of the Kerala Lottery Authorities.
Each ticket costs ₹40 and consists of two letters, which always begin with ‘P’ followed by another letter, along with six digits that range from 1 to 9 in any combination. Tickets are available in 12 different series.
To participate, you only need to purchase a ticket before the draw and keep it safe, along with your purchase receipt, as you will need to present both if you win a prize.
Players must be at least 18 years old to play Karunya Plus.
The Karunya Plus lottery was established to provide financial assistance to individuals suffering from serious illnesses. By purchasing a ticket, you not only have the chance to win significant prizes but also contribute to a worthy cause. The lottery offers seven prize tiers, including a weekly jackpot of ₹80 Lakhs and a second prize of ₹10 Lakhs.
Additionally, there is a consolation prize of ₹8,000 for players who match the winning number but have a ticket from a different series.
How to Claim a Prize
Winners must claim their Karunya Plus prizes within 30 days of the draw to avoid expiration. Fill in the ticket’s details, including the winner’s name, and keep both the ticket and the sales receipt in a safe place, as both are required for the prize payment. The method for claiming your prize depends on the amount won.
Lottery agents can pay prizes of up to ₹5,000. For amounts up to ₹1,000,000, winners need to visit a District Lottery Office or the Directorate of State Lotteries. If you win a first or second-level prize, claim your reward at the Directorate. Non-Kerala residents should also visit the Directorate to claim their prizes.
All lottery winnings in India are subject to a 30% tax, as they are considered income. Please note that the former Pratheeksha Lottery is now known as the Karunya Plus Lottery.
